The British Embassy in Montenegro maintains and develops relations between the UK and Montenegro. Our work covers a range of issues, including political, security, prosperity, law enforcement co-operation and consular.
The Embassy is currently closed to visitors due to the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Montenegro. Access to the Consular Section is by appointment only. If you have any questions, please call +382 20 420 100.
We provide services to British nationals living in and visiting Montenegro. You can access UK government services while in Montenegro.
The Embassy works with the Montenegrin government and international and local partners on areas of mutual benefit. The UK’s priorities are: co-operation on regional stability and defence; fighting organised crime and promoting the rule of law; supporting democracy, including media freedoms and inclusion; improving the business environment; and tackling climate change.
