Applications to renew a 10 year old photocard licence with a 'TY' reference number

If you’ve already applied to renew your licence you can use this service to:

  • track its progress
  • upload a new photo or use your passport photo

You’ll need your application reference. This was emailed to you after you applied. It’ll be 10 digits long, starting with ‘TY’.

You’ll normally get your driving licence within a week of completing your online application.
