The D1 exemption allows you to deposit dredging spoil on the banks of the water it was dredged from and treat it by screening and removing water.
This exemption allows you to temporarily store waste at a collection point before recovering or disposing of the waste elsewhere.
The D2 exemption allows older rolling stock not fitted with appropriate collection facilities to deposit sanitary waste onto the track.
The T4 exemption allows you to treat waste to reduce its volume for transport to another site for reuse, recycling or to make handling easier.
The U8 exemption allows you to use waste materials (that do not need treating) for a specific purpose to reduce the use of virgin or non-waste materials.

The T19 exemption allows small-scale physical and chemical treatment of waste edible oils and fat to produce fuel.
The D7 exemption allows you to burn plant tissue and untreated wood waste from joinery or manufacturing in the open air.
The S1 waste exemption lets you store certain waste in secure containers at a site separate to where it was produced, before transportation to another site for recovery.
The U2 exemption allows you to use a small number of end-of-life tyre bales in construction.
The T18 exemption allows you to treat waste by using flocculants to remove water so that clay or water-based paints can be recovered.
The T27 exemption allows organophosphate sheep dip to be treated with an approved organophosphate-degrading enzyme. T27 is currently unavailable for use.
The T9 exemption allows you to treat scrap metal for handling or recovery by sorting, grading, shearing by manual feed, baling, crushing or cutting with handheld equipment.
The D4 exemption allows you to deposit diseased crops where they were grown when a Plant Health Notice has been issued, to reduce the risk of spreading plant diseases or pests.
The D5 exemption allows you to deposit and store waste samples when required to comply with or enforce specified regulations, or before testing and analysis for research.
