You can get a replacement MOT certificate from any MOT centre if you’ve lost or damaged the original.
Contact an MOT centre - it doesn’t have to be the one that did the MOT.
Give them the vehicle registration (number plate) and log book (V5C) reference number.
The MOT centre will give you a replacement certificate.
You can’t apply for a replacement online.
The MOT centre can charge you £10 or half the full MOT test fee - whichever is the lower amount.
The fee is different for heavy goods vehicles and public service vehicles.
Don’t include personal or financial information like your National Insurance number or credit card details.
