Please read Shared Workspace.

To register for Shared Workspace, you must first contact the HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) office that deals with your organisation, to discuss whether it is suitable for your needs.

Having agreed that the service will meet your needs, your organisation then needs to nominate someone to act as a point of contact with HMRC. Within the service, this role is called the Customer Organisation Representative (COR). The COR will discuss and agree with HMRC the purpose of the ‘room’ within the service where the data you are sharing will be stored.

The COR must then nominate 2 additional people in your organisation to administer access to the service and the data you will be sharing from your end. Within the service, this role is called the Customer Nominated Contact (CNC).

HMRC has published a series of helpsheets to guide the COR and CNC through the process of setting up the room and managing access for users in your organisation.
