If you have a community premises, it may be possible to disapply the mandatory condition under Section 19(4) of the Licensing Act 2003 for the requirement of a Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) by transferring the responsibility to the management of a board or committee of individuals.
A Provisional Statement is used for premises which are intended to become licensed, but which have not yet been built or converted. A provisional statement therefore, acts as an indicator whether a premises licence is likely to be granted upon completion of the construction work or alterations in accordance with the plans.
