To specify a Designated Premises Supervisor on a premises licence, you must obtain the consent of that person.
When a premises license lapses because the holder dies, becomes insolvent, or is declared mentally incapable, a person with a prescribed interest, or who is connected to the former holder may apply for interim authority to reinstate the licence for a period of two months.
Any person mentioned in section 16(1) Licensing Act may apply for the transfer of a premises licence.
4. Application to vary a premises licence to specify an individual as designated premises supervisor
The holder of a premises licence which authorises the supply of alcohol may apply to vary the licence so as to specify the individual named in the application as the premises supervisor
Holders of Premises Licences and Club Premises Certificates may apply to make a small variation which will not impact adversely on the licensing objectives, through the simplified Minor Variation process.

A person with a property interest in any premises situated in the area of a licensing authority may give notice of his interest, and be notified of any change to the statutory register relating to that premises.
Holders and Designated Supervisors of Premises and Personal Alcohol Licences, and Club Certificates, are under a legal obligation to notify the licensing authority of any change in their name or address.
An application to transfer a premises licence from an existing holder to a transferee, must be accompanied by a consent to the transfer signed by the existing licence holder.
A person specified as a Designated Premises Supervisor on a Premises Licence may remove themselves from the licence by giving notice to the Licensing Authority and the Premises Licence Holder, in the prescribed form.
