What you'll get
Solid fuel
If you qualify for the allowance you’ll get a delivery of solid fuel every 4 or 5 weeks, depending on where you live.
You might be able to change to ‘cash in lieu’ (or a cash allowance) if you already get fuel through the scheme and your circumstances have not changed.
You will need to return a Certificate of Continued Entitlement each year to keep your allowance.
How you’re paid
The cash allowance is paid every 3 months into your bank or building society account.
