Assessing: COMPASS: viewing your records: Case Summary
The Case Summary is a full page overview of the COMPASS (IHTM31101) and ERS (IHTM29101) record.
The top of this window gives brief identification details of the case event and the allocated caseworker
Service caseworkers use this box as part of their file management to record important events on a case, such as valuation referrals, amendments and phone calls. This is used in conjunction with the file notes as part of the file management.
Scroll down the box to find records of all the calculations raised on the case, by date, assessment number and status (raised/issued/paid/repaid). You can use check the option box to include withdrawn calculations in the list.
Double click on a record to open the full assessment record.
The brief details show you the total amounts assessed and received, and an ‘at a glance’ note of the balance. To view the full SAGE (IHTM31851) record, click on the SAGE Trans button.
In this box you can see the total compliance yield (IHTM29107) so far recorded.
This box records two dates
- Date of receipt (IHTM31102). This is the date stamped on the form IHT400 by the postroom, or, for excepted estates, the date of grant/confirmation.
- Tax agreed (IHTM29074). This is the date you are satisfied with the information provided and have agreed or accepted the values returned and, if necessary, have issued final calculations.
