The EPTwill:

Step Action
1 For IDA users check the specified use is one of the approved uses listed in section 17 of Notice 473
2 For TSDA users check the specified use is the one listed in section 18 of Notice 473
3 If satisfied that the applicant meets the legal and policy requirements set out in Notice 473 and this guidance, they will issue a final authorisation letter.\nNote: The actual TSDA formulation must be shown on authorisation letter not just a number reference i.e. 5% benzyl benzoate not TSDA 5. If the authorisation is for TSDA1 and/or TSDA5, specific goods manufactured and for direct application to the skin should be indicated.
4 The EPT will draft the letter including any conditions necessary and issue
5 Update DTR
