Webinars for importers of food and drink products from the EU to Great Britain
Register for webinars to find out about changes to importing food and drink, including composite food and fishery products from the EU to Great Britain (GB) from 1 October 2021.
You’ll need to follow new rules on importing the following products from the EU to GB from 1 October 2021:
- food and drink that are products of animal origin for human consumption (POAO), such as meat, fish and dairy
- composite food products which contain animal products
- fishery products
Defra is hosting a series of free webinars in February and March to:
- explain what actions you must take to continue to import these products from the EU into GB from 1 October 2021
- help you find guidance on how to meet the new requirements
- give you useful links to essential information
- give you the opportunity to have your questions answered by Defra officials
