The Government Legal Department is the largest provider of legal services across government, working with all the main Whitehall departments. From roads to rivers, and health to human rights, our work touches on most aspects of public life.

Department for International Trade Legal Advisers and Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Legal Advisers are divisions within the Government Legal Department.

A number of immediate opportunities with the Department for International Trade Legal Advisers have arisen across the range of its work.

There are also opportunities available within the International, EU Exit and Trade team within Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Legal Advisers.

It is anticipated that some lawyers will form part of international trade negotiation teams, which will involve travel abroad in due course.
