Data sources, dashboards and reports to support the identification and understanding of AMR-related health inequalities.

This section brings together data sources, dashboards and reports to support the identification and understanding of AMR-related health inequalities. Data supports action by helping teams identify where inequalities exist, which populations are most affected, and where to prioritise efforts. It also enables monitoring and evaluation, allowing interventions to be refined based on evidence and impact over time.

Introduction

Information for each data source, dashboard and report on AMR has been provided against a set of descriptors (Table 1) to help users quickly identify those most relevant to their needs. A full list is available in Annexe NAP AMR Health Inequalities toolkit v0.2.

Format summarising how the data sources, dashboards and reports on AMR are presented

  • Title: Name of the data source
  • Summary: Brief description of the data source content and purpose
  • Type: Category or classification of the data source
  • National or regional level data: Indicates whether the data source provides data at a national level (England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland), regional level, or both
  • Link: URL providing access to the data source
  • Year: Year in which the data source was published, released or updated
  • Login required: Indicates whether access to the data source requires authentication (such as signup, subscription, or organisational login)
  • ID: Unique identifier assigned to each data source. Please use the attached workbook to see these descriptors

English surveillance programme for antimicrobial utilisation and resistance (ESPAUR) report

Summary

National annual report tracking antimicrobial consumption and resistance trends across England, including patterns in key pathogens, prescribing behaviour and stewardship activity. Supports monitoring of AMR burden and progress against the UK AMR Action Plan.

Includes sub-analysis by deprivation, ethnicity, age and geography.
