Request a forecast statement for a lump sum payment

Find out how much money you could receive if you're eligible to apply for the Lump Sum Exit Scheme to leave or retire from farming.

Applies to England

The forecast statement will show the amount you could receive as a lump sum payment if you meet the Lump Sum Exit Scheme rules. This will help you decide if you want to apply to the scheme.

Check your business details are correct

Check your business details are correct before you request a forecast statement. You can check and update your details by either:

  • using the online Rural Payments service
  • telephoning the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) helpline: 03000 200 301

If you have control of more than one business and are thinking of leaving some or all of them, you will need to request a forecast statement for each one.

Telephone: RPA helpline 03000 200 301 and follow the recorded instructions.
