By working for a recruitment agency you will be responsible for filling highly sought-after vacancies with the most suitable employees.

Training opportunities

Recruitment is a highly pressurised industry and much of the work is commission-based, meaning you have to find the right person for the job or you will lose out on cash.

As an apprentice, you will learn the expertise you need to progress in this very competitive workplace.

Types of apprenticeships

There are 2 types of recruitment apprenticeships.

Advanced level apprenticeship

You could train in roles like:

  • trainee/junior recruitment consultant
  • in-house resourcer
  • account representative

Higher level apprenticeship

You could train in roles like:

  • recruitment consultant
  • senior/principle/lead consultant
  • account manager

Apply for a recruitment apprenticeship

You can become an apprentice in England if you’re:

  • 16 or over
  • eligible to work in England
  • not in full-time education
