Training opportunities

Financial services is a big sector with a variety of roles including:

  • insurance and investment administrators, who keep records and reports up to date

As an apprentice, you could be working as an insurance clerk, claims handler, investment administrator, cashier or customer service representative. You’ll learn how to work in a financial services environment and follow important regulations. Every day you’ll encounter customers and numbers, so you’ll need good customer-facing skills and a head for maths.

Apply for a providing financial services apprenticeship

You can apply for an apprenticeship in England if you’re:

  • 16 or over
  • eligible to work in England
  • not in full-time education
