Live events and promotion apprenticeships

Types of apprenticeships that you can apply for in the live events and promotion sector.

This apprenticeship involves everything to do with putting on a show or event from promoting the event to staging it.

Training opportunities

You’ll train in administrative and/or support roles including stage/venue crew support, event booking support and booking agent assistants on the intermediate level apprenticeship.

You’ll train as music/events promotions assistant or events assistant, events/entertainment officer, venue and staff crew on the advanced level apprenticeship.

Types of apprenticeships

There are 2 types of live events and promotion apprenticeships.

Intermediate level apprenticeship

  • venue and stage crew
  • event promotion support staff
  • booking agents assistant

Advanced level apprenticeship

  • venue and stage crew
  • music/events promotions assistant
  • events assistant
  • events/entertainment officer
  • production assistant

Apply for an agriculture apprenticeship

You can become an apprentice in England if you’re:

  • 16 or over
  • eligible to work in England
  • not in full-time education
