HM Land Registry portal: request historical copies

How Business e-services customers can request historical copies through the portal.

Log in to the portal.

Select ‘Information services’ then ‘Request historical copies’.

Enter details of property

  1. Enter title number
  2. Enter your customer reference
  3. Select ‘Next’ to continue.

Enter edition dates

  1. Enter a date range (maximum of one year) or a specific date.
  2. Select ‘Next’ to continue.

Choose edition you wish to order

  1. Select available editions of the register or title plan.
  2. You can select one or more than one edition of the register or title plan.
  3. Select ‘Next’ to continue.
  4. You can select the number of copies required.
  5. Select ‘Next’ to continue.

Find out the fee information

Check the submission details and enter any notes.

Complete your application

Select ‘Submit’.

Your historical copies will be delivered to you by post. A fee has not been debited for this. Any fee payable will be assessed under the current fee order and debited on completion of your application

Logout

When you have completed your tasks, select ‘Logout’ at the top of the screen to exit the system securely.
