For an inspection of a filed memorandum, you must visit the Land Charges Department Customer Information Centre in Plymouth. Make an appointment.
**Receive the result by phone
When you apply for an official search to be made in the Agricultural Credits Register, using form AC6 you can request that the result of search be posted or telephoned. It costs £1 per call (minimum fee), in addition to the 50 pence per name fee payable for the official search.
How to pay fees
You can pay for services and substantive applications by:
- variable direct debit, if you have a Business e-services account
- cheque or postal order. Make payable to ‘HM Land Registry’ and send with your application to our Agricultural Credits Department
- credit or debit card or cash. Make an appointment to one of our offices and bring your application
This guide is based on the statutory provision of the Agricultural Credits Fees Order 1985, which came into effect on 1 June 1985 and still applies.
