Give notice about an import of live salamanders or newts (BSAL2)

Notify the Fish Health Inspectorate (FHI) about an import of live amphibia of the order Caudata (salamanders and newts).

Use this service to notify the FHI about an import of live salamanders or newts.

You must notify the FHI at least 5 working days before each import.

Before you start

Read the guidance on the import of live amphibians of the order Caudata (salamanders and newts).

To submit your notification you’ll need to know:

• your business code
• the destination site code
• details of the supplier and source site
