Check your transit guarantee balance

Find out how to check your New Computerised Transit System (NCTS) guarantee balance.

If you have a guarantee that covers transit movements through the EU, you can use the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS) to check the balance of your:

• guarantee waiver
• individual guarantee with multiple usage
• customs comprehensive guarantee

Before you start

You will need your:

• EORI number
• guarantee reference number
• access code — if you do not have your access code, contact the NCTS helpdesk

How to check your balance

You’ll need to sign in using the same details you used when you got your EORI number.

Service availability

HMRC services may be slow during certain times. Check if there are any problems with the NCTS.
