15. Capital Funding Guide Library and Updates
Historical versions of the Capital Funding Guide (CFG) dating back to 2004 and how updates to the guide are made and recorded.
1.1 The Capital Funding Guide (CFG) is regularly updated to reflect new and amended legislation, policy, funding requirements and guidance. For this reason, providers are strongly discouraged from printing a hard copy version.
2.1 The easiest way to find out when we publish CFG updates is to sign up for Homes England email alerts. This will notify you whenever we make an important update to one of our GOV.UK pages or publish a new page.
2.2 All significant updates to the CFG are recorded in our updates section. Before November 2016, major updates made to the CFG were listed in a ‘New Announcements’ chapter which no longer exists. Information on updates made between 2007 and 2015 can be accessed via the National Archives.
3.1 Historic versions of the CFG are held on the National Archives website. These are snapshots taken on a particular date and are also available to download as a PDF. These snapshots are grouped into:
