Lord Puttnam, the Prime Minister’s UK Trade and Cultural Envoy, will attend the launch of the ‘Shopping is GREAT’ campaign for 2015 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Organised by UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) at the British Consulate General, the campaign aims to promote several UK brands. These range from iconic motoring brands such as Mini and Jaguar/Land Rover to high street fashion retailers, including Oasis, Marks and Spencer, Clarks Shoes, and several others.

Other activities

Lord Puttnam will also host the launch of the British Council’s UK film week from 4 to 11 November 2015, which is focusing on British musicals with films such as Bugsy Malone, Control and Good Vibrations.

In Hanoi, Lord Puttnam will host a mid-term review meeting of the Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO), with the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Other meetings will follow-up on the successful outcome of the British Prime Minister’s visit last July.
