UK maintains position as top investment destination in Europe
The UK has maintained its position as the number one destination for foreign direct investment (FDI) in Europe after attracting a record number of FDI projects.
The UK is ranked third after the US and China with a number of 1,988 FDI projects- 12 per cent more compared to 2013/14.
Israel is ranked high amongst countries investing in Britain with dozens of projects and investment projects in various fields. The scope of the trade between the two countries is an example of the strong economic partnership between Britain and Israel and the efforts of UK Trade & Investment at the British Embassy in Israel.
British Ambassador to Israel Matthew Gould said: “Britain continues to keep its position as the number one destination for foreign investments in Europe. This reflects the huge advantages of doing business in the UK. In the past few years the economic partnership between Britain and Israel has grown sharply. More and more Israeli companies are investing, creating economic value for both countries building the ties between us.”
