British Ambassador in Albania, Nicholas Cannon attended the Albanian Special Olympic Games at the University of Sports in Tirana on 28 October. The games are organised by the Vodafone Albania Foundation, partnered with the Special Olympics Albania, for the fifth time.
Special Olympic Games
330 participants, out of whom 32 teachers & instructors, 18 referees and 50 volunteers ran various games such as basketball, football, athletics, tennis table & bowling. The teams come from the rehabilitation centres and specialized schools dedicated to people with special needs.
