Exploring the potential for business collaborations with Israeli companies will be MediaCom, MEC, BBH, Manning Gottlieb OMD, AMV BBDO, Group M and Unreal.

The delegation has been jointly organised by the Trade and Economic Office at the Embassy of Israel in London, the UK-Israel Tech Hub at the British Embassy in Israel and the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute, as part of the on-going initiative to boost strategic technology partnerships between the UK and the State of Israel.

The visit will introduce these multinational trend-setters to an array of cutting-edge Israeli innovation from companies in the areas of visual search and exposure, social media, interactive video platforms, big data, real-time analytics, mobile advertising, content marketing and augmented reality.

During the visit, ten Israeli start-up companies will be pitching to the delegation in a speed-dating style meeting at the residence of the British Ambassador, while dozens more companies will later meet with the delegates from the UK, one-to-one, in private sessions at the Israel Export Institute.

Other highlights of the visit include a tour of Silicon Boulevard, visits to various leading incubators such as JVP Media Labs, meetings with customized-ad specialists, MyThings, as well as an open networking event at Google Campus, Tel Aviv, which will be attended by approximately 150 Israeli entrepreneurs and investors.

Ahead of the visit, Stefan Bardega, Managing Partner: Head of Digital at MediaCom commented: “I’ve heard a great deal about the impressive innovation coming out of Israel. I’m very excited to be exploring collaboration opportunities with adtech solutions that could really impact the way we do business at MediaCom”.

“We are delighted to welcome this high-calibre group of British advertising executives to Israel” said Lucy Blechner, Digital Manager of the UK Israel Tech Hub at the British Embassy Israel. “There is a strong synergy between Israeli innovation in adtech and the world-class advertising industry in the UK. We believe there are very tangible opportunities at stake here for business partnerships.”
