Chevening Alumni Croatia celebrates the Scholarship

We celebrated the 30th anniversary of the UK Government Chevening Scholarship with many of the 300+ past Chevening Scholars in Croatia.

The Chevening Scholarship Programme finances graduates from around the world with the potential to be influential future leaders and decision makers to study postgraduate studies at British universities. In Croatia, Chevening ran for 22 years and today, Chevening alumni members work in the Government, Parliament; they are Croatian ambassadors – like Igor Pokaz, Croatia’s ambassador to Moscow, who joined us for the event, and Mato Skrabalo, Croatian Permanent Representative to the EU; more than a few of them work in Brussels. They are also applying their knowledge and skills at Croatian universities, in science, media, NGO’s, and businesses.

Ambassador David Slinn said:

I congratulate you on your achievements so far - and the achievements you will make in the future.
