British Embassy supports the agricultural community in Kosovo
Ambassador Cliff at agricultural fair encourages greater cooperation between farmers and institutions to improve rural livelihoods
The British Ambassador to Kosovo opened the Regional Agricultural Fair in South Mitrovica on 8 October 2014 . The event brought together small farmers from across Kosovo enabling them to expand mutual cooperation and enhance communication between them and the local/central level institutions, as well as discussing production techniques and product marketing.
The event was organised by the Union of Farmer Association of Mitrovica, financially supported by the British Embassy, Municipalities of Mitrovica South, Vushtrri/Vučitrn and Skenderaj/Srbica.
British Ambassador, Ian Cliff, visited the farmers on their stands, discussing with them farming issues and how local institutions can support producers.
