At the opening ceremony Ambassador Edgar said:

It’s a pleasure to see this great British retailer opening in Uzbekistan. I’m confident that Uzbek consumers will value the high quality British goods from BHS and the store will become a favourite place for family and individual shopping in Tashkent.

The total floor area of the store is 850 square metres. It stocks clothing for women, men and children, fashion accessories and household items. BHS designers created a special atmosphere at the store, decorating it with British flags and other well-known symbols of London including a model of a double-decker bus, and the Queen’s guards welcoming visitors.
