Treasure Act 1996 Annual Report 2010
This is the twelfth Annual Report to Parliament on the operation of the Treasure Act 1996.
Details
Like its predecessors, it lists all the treasure finds reported in England, Wales and Northern Ireland from January to December 2010.
This Report contains details of 860 cases reported during 2010. Of these cases, 299 have been, or are in the process of being, acquired by museums across the country. Of these 299, 70 have been donated. 423 were disclaimed and subsequently returned to the finders/landowners, 106 were deemed not to be Treasure and 32 cases are still to be determined.
