Details

Estimates of total final energy consumption from 2005 to 2018 at a country, regional and local authority level. The latest dataset now includes Northern Ireland gas and electric consumption statistics from 2015. These statistics were created by adding together the 6 main datasets:

• Great Britain subnational electric consumption data
• Great Britain subnational gas consumption data
• subnational road transport data
• residual fuel consumption at regional and local authority level
• Northern Ireland subnational electric consumption data
• Northern Ireland subnational gas consumption data

This dataset gained National Statistics status in March 2008, and this status applies to all data from 2005 onwards.
