The Department for Work and Pensions provides people (on request) with a State Pension statement that gives an estimate of their likely State Pension, based on their current National Insurance (NI) record.

This publication includes:

  • the number of new State Pension paper statements that have been issued
  • the number accessing information about their State Pension through the online service ‘Check your State Pension’
  • historical figures back to 2000/01 on the number of State Pension statements that have been issued
