Indicators in the Sexual and reproductive health profiles have been updated with the latest data. The annual update to reproductive health indicators gives national and local data to inform planning for sexual health and contraceptive services for local populations. This includes information about inequalities such as deprivation, age and sex where this is available. The data is intended for use by local government and health service professionals.
This release updates indicators for:
- contraceptive prescribing for 2024
- abortions for 2022 and 2023
The rates for 2022 and 2023 for the contraceptive indicators have also been updated to reflect revisions to population estimates for these years.
