The July 2020 national statistics public expenditure outturn release presents analyses of public spending against budgeting and expenditure on services frameworks. These analyses cover public spending by department, function and economic category.
In May 2019 the UK Statistics Authority (UKSA) published an assessment on the country and regional analysis (CRA) release which identified a range of actions for the Treasury to undertake to further enhance the release.
As a result, HM Treasury has launched a user survey to gather feedback on the CRA, covering topics such as data collection, methodology, presentation, and usability. We welcome responses from all users of the CRA publication and will provide an update of any results or outcomes in due course.
