Postponement of arrivals statistics publication
Following a user consultation period, the Department for Transport is postponing publication of the arrivals statistical outputs (reports and tables) until later this year to allow time for a full methodological review.
The review will assess how these statistics are compiled using different data sources to ensure the best possible estimates of how UK ship arrivals are produced.

Note: Data on UK vessel arrivals up to 2024 is still available in tables PORT0601 to PORT0605. Commentary on previous year’s trends remains available in last year’s release, Port freight annual statistics 2024: Arrivals.
