Details

Annual statistics on roadside breath tests for alcohol and fixed penalty notices (FPNs) and other outcomes for motoring offences. The breath tests statistics include information on trends in breath tests carried out by police in England and Wales, the number of positive or refused breath tests and breath tests conducted per 1,000 population in each police force. The motoring offence statistics include trends in fixed penalty notices and other outcomes including driver retraining courses, court action and FPNs that were subsequently cancelled.
