Local health: November 2026 update
Local health presents data on public health and wider determinants of health for small areas.

Local health contains indicators related to:
- population and demographic factors, including age, sex and deprivation
- health outcomes
- wider determinants of health, including housing and living environment
This release adds data for middle super outputs areas (MSOAs) for indicators on the following topics:
- child (aged under 16) and older adult populations (aged 65 and over and 85 and over)
- population density
- deprivation for the general population as well as children and older people
- fuel poverty
- general fertility rate and low birth weight of live babies
We are exploring ways to produce small geographical area data that can be built up into larger areas to make recent data available more quickly. The OHID statistics and research calendar will include information about future releases once they are available.
