Inclusion health data and intelligence resource

Details

The inclusion health data intelligence resource is classified as official statistics.

Local data and insight on health needs and outcomes for inclusion health populations are not routinely available. The resource collates numerical population data into one place and summarises academic research and published material to highlight health needs. It is divided up into main messages, data, health overview and policy, guidance and further resources for each of the following population groups:

  • people experiencing homelessness
  • Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities
  • sex workers
  • migrants in vulnerable circumstances
  • people subject to modern slavery
  • people in contact with the justice system
  • people experiencing drug dependence
  • people experiencing alcohol dependence

The resource has been developed in partnership with NHS England and the UK Health Security Agency to complement the Spotlight tool, with a particular focus on helping organisations and networks at a more local level. Its purpose is to support informed decision-making and develop tailored solutions to the specific challenges these groups encounter, especially in the context of implementing the 10 Year Health Plan for England: fit for the future, and advancing the integrated neighbourhood health offer outlined in the NHS England neighbourhood health service guidelines.
