This fact sheet explores different forms of housing insecurity and the experiences behind them.

As well as statutory homelessness and temporary accommodation, it includes less visible situations such as sofa surfing, where people stay with friends or family due to a lack of alternatives, and concealed households, where adults live within another household but cannot afford their own home.
