This ad-hoc publication includes both inbound calls made from clients to the CMS and outbound calls made from the CMS to clients.
The number of inbound calls is the number of calls made from clients to the general child maintenance number.
The number of outbound calls is counted as the total number of successfully connected outbound calls.
These figures have been released in order to provide further clarity to the figures quoted at the Work and Pensions Select Committee on the CMS, which took place on the 7 December 2016.
