English Housing Survey 2024 to 2025: homelessnes, hidden households and temporary accomodation - fact sheet
Housing insecurity, which can take many forms. As well as statutory homelessness and temporary accommodation, it includes less visible situations such as sofa surfing, where people stay with friends or family due to a lack of alternatives, and concealed households, where adults live within another household but cannot afford their own home. This factsheet explores these different forms and the experiences behind them.
