The Secretary of State for the Home Department (Theresa May):

I am announcing today that my department will shortly commence the first triennial review of the Migration Advisory Committee and the Technical Advisory Board. Triennial reviews of non-departmental public bodies are part of the government’s commitment to ensuring accountability in public life. I will announce the findings of the review later this year.
