1. Details of the application

The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 involving substantial change to a permit from Veolia ES (UK) Limited.

Regulated facility type

This variation is principally to broaden the waste types that can be accepted at the facility. Currently the facility is permitted to accept and treat hazardous WEEE as a Section 5.3 activity. The WEEE is principally in the form of flat screen display units, including smaller volume of small mixed WEEE.
