Details
The Traffic Commissioner curtailed the operator’s licence by one vehicle from 11:45pm on 15 September 2020 for a continuous period of 14 days. It had until that time to nominate one of the vehicles which was specified, which would be the subject of a direction preventing its operation during that period.
The Traffic Commissioner considered that Ms Ion’s repute was tarnished and raised questions over her ability to meet the statutory duty. He did not find it proportionate to disqualify her but she received the strongest of warnings.
