Background
1. The Public Sector Comparator (PSC) is run in 4 districts:
- Devon and Cornwall
- Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight
- Leicestershire, Northamptonshire
- Lincolnshire, Nottingham and Rutland
2. A change in priorities during the Covid pandemic impacted the Job Centre Plus offer previously given to customers. This resulted in customers who were on the PSC (at this time) not receiving the full PSC offer.
3. A decision has been made to give those customers who didn’t receive the full PSC offer during this period, the opportunity to attend and participate in the WHP.
Summary and action
4. Customers who were participating in the PSC in the 4 districts from the 1st Dec 2018 and didn’t receive the full PSC offer will now be able to attend and participate in the Work and Health Programme (WHP) if they are eligible and suitable.
5. The WHP provider guidance (including JETS) will be updated shortly to reflect the change.
