Background

1. This memo informs you of amendments that have been made to Work and Health Programme (COVID 19) including Job Entry Targeted Support (JETS) provider guidance chapters. These changes provide further clarification on processes that were implemented following the introduction of the WHP JETS programme.

Summary and action

2. The information in Work and Health Programme (COVID 19) including JETS provider guidance should be read in full and used by you and all of your supply chain partners. Particular attention should be given to Chapters 1, 2 and 3b which, along with additional information, provides clarification of eligibility, the number of calendar days that you have to register a start and the mandation processes.

Please Note: The updated chapters make it clear that it is the responsibility of Jobcentre Plus Work Coaches to use their expertise and skills to identify eligible Participants for the WHP JETS provision. Further explanation of provider responsibilities for gathering the relevant evidence to meet European Social Fund (ESF) audit requirements is in chapter 3b.
