The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Wetherby Skip Services Limited.

This is a new bespoke deposit for recovery application. Wetherby Skip Services Limited proposes to import up to 145,000 tonnes (97,000 m3) of inert waste to infill the quarry void at the site, and to provide an engineered platform for the future redevelopment of the site. The overall operation will comprise three phases over a four-year period.
