The Water Environment Grant (WEG) scheme is part of the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE).
The scheme is open until 5pm on 11 May 2018.
WEG is competitive - only the strongest applications will get a grant.
Use the ‘Guide for applicants’ to complete the application form and make a strong application. The guide explains:
- the scheme’s objectives
- the qualifying criteria
- how the scheme works
- how to apply
Use ‘Annex A: using geographic databases’ to help you find out more on water bodies and designated sites in your project’s area.
Use the ‘Guide for agreement holders’ to understand what you’ll need to do if you get a grant - when you become an ‘agreement holder’. This guide explains when you can start work and how to make a claim.
