This report sets out the findings of the Commissioner’s 3-month review and makes recommendations for the improvement of children’s social care services in Wakefield.
It follows a report by Ofsted that judged the overall effectiveness of the council’s children’s social care services to be inadequate.
The Department for Education issued a statutory direction to Wakefield Council on the 13th December 2018.
