The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Y S Reclamation Limited.

Regulated facility type

A16: Physical Treatment Facility. The permit shall cover the site’s reprocessing system which comprises of an open loop plastic reprocessing plant (EREMA) which accepts plastic film from industrial sources only and reprocess them into high quality pellets. These pellets are then used by the manufacturing industry as secondary raw material to make a variety of plastic products. Total storage capacity at any one time is 500tonnes with annual throughput of 12,000 tonnes.
